Very good service and some awsome food

Some of the best Mexican food I’ve ever had. I’m always afraid to try new restaurants in different towns but this one was amazing. Great service, amazing food, it tasted just like home. Couldn’t have asked for better, will definitely recommend to anyone that is in the area, and I hope to go back for some amazing food again.

Always have loved Guad's. Their customer service is superb. The food is great price for great portions and SO MANY options for any appetite. Their drinks are pretty lackluster for options, but that mole' and queso is life giving every single time. Thanks Guads.

Real authentic Mexican food, nice and clean place friendly staff and fast service I had a carne asada and it was Excellent my wife had a steak burrito and she was very pleased with it and she is from Mexico 🇲🇽 so she know went the food is good or not and I’m from Puerto Rico but I love Mexican food and this one definitely was very good

Don't bother.The salsa has no tomato chunks. It is cilantro and onion soup with a watery tomato base.The pollo fundido is bland (but pretty moist) chicken wrapped in a tortilla (either fried or not) and then they have the audacity to slap a slice of processed american cheese on top of each one. Even after I smothered it in sour creme I couldn't suffer through it.The chili verde is a green onion and tough cubes of pork smothered in....something. even the rice here needs hot sauce to have flavor.Oh and they have nothing on draft.

Went last week and the food was decent. I got steak fajita and the bell peppers were really yummy. But the meat to ratio was super heavy on the veggie side. The margaritas are really expensive....? They were $5 each but super super like on the alcohol so that was a major bust for me. Otherwise service was decent.

Guadalajara's is always an amazing place to eat. They are very accommodating and seat very fast and get your order right when you are ready, even when they are packed! Want a picture of yourself in a sombrero for your birthday and a song? They do it! Food is always hot, fast, and delicious. Great chips and salsa appetizers for everyone as well.

I will say over all, great food. I loved the decor of the place. I will say three things made me unhappy. 1. The Marietta my mother and I ordered were just sugar. I moved my straw to see all the sugar. I'm not a hummingbird 2. My water glass wasnt clean. It didnt have food but the residue left on the glasses. Gross. 3. The salsa was water, with a little bit on onion and jalapenos. I will totally come back just, not happy with those few things!!

Fabulous food, fast service

Clean and easy. Good portions and good flavor. Wasnt overly impressed, but definitely an easy to please menu. Margaritas where a no go

This is the Spearfish location Im reviewing. Absolutely delicious food..great service and colorful cultural atmosphere. A must stop when in the area!

They have vegetarian options but you have to let them know no cheese or sour cream. The waitress got both of my friends' orders wrong. Not sure everyone completely understands english here. The food tastes good despite this.

Good food good service

My wife and I loved going to this place. It has a nice atmosphere inside; being filled with cultural items and being exceptionally clean. Staff were friendly, patient, and did offer great recommendations to someone who isn't accustomed to mexican cuisine. The platter I had was incredibly huge; where my platter was 2 feet in diameter and filled with very flavorful food. Even spicey food wasn't so hot to the point you wanted to cry, but still had some heat and kicked with flavors. Wait time for food was not very long. I would say about 10 minutes and then the food came. They serve alcoholic drinks like margaritas; the strawberry and raspberry being some of my favorites. The price for all the food you get and the quality of it is actually pretty good; with 2 meals and 2 drinks came to around $32.

Was recommended tonus, and worth it! Chips n salsa when u sit down..great margaritas and lots of food!

The food is pretty ok but they don't serve horchata. Queso and salsa are super watery. But it's about what you'd expect for a Mexican place in South Dakota 🤷🏻‍♀️

Definitely no match for gallos. The enchiladas here had no flavor and the rice was super bland and dry. Great server though, and good service.

One of the best burritos I have ever had. The carne asada used in the Guadalajara Burrito is so tasty and full of flavor. And the thing is huge. One could definitely make eat half and save the other for later. Ordering was quick and easy. I did not dine in but next time I am nearby I most likely will. If you’re in town, I highly recommend.

Basically overpriced bland food all around. "Cheese dip" is alright and if you do eat here order steak fajitas or steak something. Its like they found the whitest guy to try and make Mexican food and its looks similar to what Mexican food might be but misses the mark completely. For the price of everything id rather go spend maybe another $5 at a steakhouse and eat good and be happy with my choices in life than go back and eat there. Only other good thing ive found about restaurants named Guadalajara is the FACT that there is indeed a better mexican restaurant in that town other than Guadalajara.

Great dining experience. Terrific variety on the menu. Reasonable prices and large portions. My family all agreed it was the best meal we have had in awhile.

Being from Texas I'm pretty picky about my Mexican food and this is the best I've had north of Colorado! The queso is different but pretty good. Everything I've had from here is damn good! This is BY FAR my favorite restuarant in the Capital area!!! Decent margarita's too.

Not only was the food really good but they service from the ladies was the fastest i have ever seen from time of order to the table. Thank you again!

Come to pierre every week eat here every other week. I stay in a hotel when i am here. The new host/ cashier told me when I asked if she put to go silverware in the bag that there was. Got back to hotel to eat and had to go back to restaurant to get the plastic ware. Thought I get some salsa for my fajitas while I was there and was told I had to pay for some.

AWESOME FOOD!! Very reasonable price for the amount of food serviced... The restaurant was very busy but we did not have to wait long for our order... So GREAT FOOD, AWESOME SERVICE I LOOK FORWARD TO DINING THERE AGAIN

The salsa is good with chopped veggies in it. The fajitas are wonderful. The staff has been good to us with quick service.

Our party of 8 visited on a Saturday night and it was busy, but we got seated right away. Our server was very attentive. There is a lot of variety on the menu. We ate chicken enchiladas a la crema, fajitas, and tacos, and all were good. The food came quickly and was hot and good flavor. Guadalajara's is a favorite restaurant of my brother's family. I would go more often if they had a few more options that were healthier.

The food is great, the services is great, the music is great, everything was great. And for the white people who say it isn't good yall never heard of flavor have you. Off topic but white people have the audacity to kick mexicans out of this country, but y'all are eating there food hmm seem kinda fishy to me. But anyways the foods is delicious one of the best mexican restaurants i've been too there shrimp al la mushroom is the BEST I LOVE IT SO MUCH. There chips and salsa is very good. The people there are amazing at there job and just good people. Have a good day!!

No ambience whatsoever. The restaurant appears to have last had a make over in the 1980s. The menu is large but only "Texmex," not true Mexican food associated with non-border areas. And a bit on the expensive side....$20 for nachos, a plate of 2 enchiladas, water....

Very good flavors and fast

Nice restaurant with a lot of seats inside.When we were there, there wasn’t any music playin-it made the atmosphere sad. Food was tasty but nothing outstanding.

Great texmex style food always had a great experience weather it was take out or done in staff is friendly and doesn't take long to get your food

My first time here so I ordered combo #5 .. tamale was mostly dough, the taco meat had a weird taste, in fact that weird taste was on everything. I barely ate half. The staff, never checked on us. If we wanted/ needed something we had to flag her down. The restaurant was not busy at all! Only 3 tables were in use. We were 1 of the tables.. My bill was $26 with 2 beer's and bad service... never again!
